The Accor Hotels were first created in 1983 with the merger of Novotel, SIEH (Société d'Investissement et d'Exploitation Hôteliers) and Jacques Borel International. Best Western International Hotels
The hotel chain "Best Western International" was founded in 1946 by MK Guertin, a hotelier with 23 years of experience.
