About Hôtel de Ville

The Paris City Hall, named Hôtel de Ville, was first constructed in 1533. Due to a tragic fire burn down, the City Hall was rebuilt in 1880, partly from the remaining stonework. It is still used today as the residence for city officials and political conferences. Hotels close by range from modest family accommodations to luxury class establishments, all with an excellent competition for prices.

A subway station is within walking distance from Place Hôtel de Ville, connection the City Hall district with the historical center within just a few minutes. As such, hotels near the City Hall provide you with an excellent opportunity to discover the beauties of the City of Lights. The local Bazar is a must for those looking to take home some souvenirs and Place de Greve is a great place for a picknick.
