How does the reservation system work?

After selecting your hotel of choice, you can make the booking or request of your preference by clicking on "book now" or "request". After that, you can fill in your details in the presented form and sent it to us. You will receive right away a confirmation of your request.

With respect to the "request" option, you will receive a confirmation and a reservation number after a few minutes, containing all the details regarding the selected hotel (100% automated process). The confirmation of your reservation is sent to you after our partner Bookings has received an answer from the selected hotel via fax.

All special offers shown on the site are published directly by the hotels, conform the duration and availability of the offers. As the Bookings system is online with many hotels, you can find the best offers and rates on our site. These special offers often have certain conditions attached, which differ per hotel or chain, therefore, it is important to take notice of this at the moment you reserve a hotel.

How are my credit card details being handled?

The majority of the hotels ask for credit card details just to guarantee the reservation. No withdrawal is made, except in special cases where it is clearly indicated on the site. Only when the traveller does not show up on the date of reservation (no-show) and has not cancelled the reservation within the period indicated on the website (normally 24 hours in advance), a withdrawal from the traveller's credit card will be taken. This withdrawal equals the rate of the chosen hotel room for one night.

The best way of transferring your data in a confidential way is via the "secure server". When completing the reservation form, you will have the option of using this secure server. The website will show a padlock on the right side of the bar in your screen, ensuring the security of the site. In case you wish to send your data directly to the hotel by fax, this is possible too.

How can I cancel a reservation?

After completing the reservation, you will receive the reservation details by email. Among the information send to you, you will find the instructions to cancel the reservation. This can be done via e-mail, fax or telephone. Although some hotels work with special regulations, for the larger majority of the hotels it is possible to cancel a reservation without costs until 24 hours before the date of arrival.
