Oslo’s Gardermoen International Airport is located about 50 km north of city and well-connected to the city centre by either airport buses or train. The city itself offers a variety of public transport options to get around, including a subway, streetcars and ferries. Although the city centre is compact and easy to explore by foot, you might consider an Oslo Pass that saves you on public transport and admissions to many attractions. For day-trips outside of Oslo we recommended a boat trip through the stunning fjords forming Norway’s coastal landscapes; probably the main trademark of this charming and hospitable country!
